About me

Diane
I am a North American citizen and spent most of my life in Northern California before moving to Norway.  My Bachelor`s degree was completed at Sacramento State University, California.  After traveling around the world for two years, I decided to return to my studies, working toward a Master`s degree in Psychology.  My Master`s degree was completed at California Institute of Integral studies in San Francisco.  I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (MFT #43032).  MFT`s are required to obtain a Master`s level degree in Psychology, complete 3000 hours of supervised clinical training at a designated clinic, and pass a competitive written and oral examination.

I have been working in the mental health field since 1998 and as a psychotherapist since 2003.  I have provided psychological services for adults, families, couples and children from various ages and ethnic/multi-cultural backgrounds in a number of settings, including community agencies, psychiatric facilities, county jail, schools and private practice.
